Today we had the first snow in York.
The view through Dean’s Park to the York Minster Library is always picturesque, however this morning on my way in to the reading room I could not help but think that it was particularly striking.
Here is the Dean’s park view of the Chapter House and Vestibule on the North side of the Minster.
Someone left some bird food around for this particular pigeon.
The view from my room covered in snow.
The Wentworth Horn
As always King’s Manor is a welcoming sight.
And the Center for Medieval Studies, finally without scaffolding.
The Archeology Courtyard
Rosa took this photo of me on the way home from class.
We should have snow for the next week just in time for the St. Nicholas Fayre which I plan to peruse thus weekend. Hopefully, I will neither be frozen nor disenchanted with the snow after next week.
